  • Properties Committee

    Purpose: To develop and monitor long term properties plans and strategies that maximize our ability to implement the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, meet program needs and interests of girls and volunteers and to eliminate usage barriers, maximize our resources, and maximize accomplishment of GSK’s strategic priorities. 

     

    Process:

    1. Plan, monitor, evaluate and recommend priorities for the council's current and potential future use of its properties.
    2. Recommend priorities related to retention, release and resting/holding of properties.
    3. Recommend policies and standards related to council properties.
    4. Work with fund development and program staff, committees, and task forces to facilitate the camp sustainability plans and coordination of program, fund development (including alternate revenue streams), and property development.
