  • Finance Committee

    Purpose: To assist the board in fulfilling its fiduciary duty for prudent fiscal oversight and maintaining the fiscal stability and long-term economic health of GSK.

     

    Process:

    1. Ensure that the financial planning for GSK is supportive of and fully integrated with the long-range plans and mission of the council.
    2. Review council financial performance, recommend annual budget, recommend related policies and standards.
    3. Hold one joint meeting per year with the Audit Committee to review the external audit.
    4. Conduct a semi-annual investment review with our investment advisor to ensure compliance with board investment policies.
    5. Meet annually with the 401K administrator to fulfill our fiduciary requirements.
